Smorstad's Scoop- January 15th

**WEEKLY SCOOP!**

We started this week with our grade level SMART assembly. Many students in our classroom were recognized for their SMART behavior in our class and in the special’s classes. We also finished up writing letters and I am excited for friend’s and family to receive the letters we mailed out. In science, we kicked off our matter unit with Bill Ney the Science Guy… and the students were quite entertained with his silly humor. We had a very productive week and I am so proud of the way they have jumped right back into a routine of trying their best!

- We completed our 14^th smart chart and were able to have a game party!

- Our class will not have a star student next week because it is not a 5 day week. We will resume with the star student the week of January 25^th.

- Next time we have snow days, please refer to our classroom blog to get scheduling information.
